About Us

The Online Efiko is a micro-learning platform which provides interactive eLearning courses across several important areas: leadership and management; communication skills; personal effectiveness and productivity; customer service; strategy and innovation; entrepreneurial development and management; business acumen and financial literacy, digital skills amongst others.

Most of the courses are designed, developed, and taught by Learning Impact’s Founder, Omagbitse Barrow (The Efiko) as he transfers his extensive experience as a scholar, corporate educator, entrepreneur, and strategy consultant to learners through eLearning.

The Online Efiko is growing to become the largest indigenous eLearning platform for professionals in Nigeria and Africa, offering the flexibility, convenience, local context and content and an affordable alternative to the typical online courses from outside the country.

The name “Efiko” is inspired by the Nigerian slang that means a nerd, bookworm, or a geek. It is therefore a community of professionals and organizational leaders who are excited about learning and applying practical skills to improving their lives, work, and organizations.

At the Online Efiko, our focus is to ensure that our learners get a “sabificate” and not just a certificate. There are too many people with certificates who are unable to apply what they have learned to the real world, and this skills gap is hurting our society and our country severely. Our vision is that through the Online Efiko, more individuals will be equipped with the skills they need to do their jobs properly (“sabi”) and that their vocations, careers, and organizations will flourish.
